A SAP Case Study
The NSW Department of Education needed a clearer view of its vast IT landscape to centralize scattered information, accurately map its systems and processes, and support better IT investment decisions across one of the world’s largest education jurisdictions. To refresh its digital strategy and create a future-focused IT footprint, the department turned to SAP LeanIX and SAP Signavio solutions, with support from Kapish.
SAP implemented SAP LeanIX and SAP Signavio to unify disconnected repositories, provide process and architecture visibility, and improve governance and planning. The result was consolidated IT information, better decision-making, and lower IT spending, including $A1 million in cost savings from reducing duplicate systems and processes and identifying 155 applications for removal or strategic review.
