A SAP Case Study
MOL, the international oil and gas company based in Budapest, Hungary, needed a way to streamline supply chain management and strengthen supplier collaboration to improve compliance, procurement efficiency, and strategic alignment. As part of its 2030 “Enter Tomorrow” strategy, MOL turned to SAP and SAP Business Network to support more standardized, digitally connected procurement processes.
SAP implemented SAP Business Network with SAP Services and Support to connect MOL and its suppliers through a shared platform and common workflows. The result was standardized collaboration across more than 25 group companies and over 1,300 suppliers, with purchase confirmations automatically entered into SAP ERP to boost efficiency for operational buyers. MOL said the rollout was completed on time and within budget, and serves as a template for future global deployments.
