How Grundfos, made up of over 100 businesses, used SAP Document and Reporting Compliance to comply with e-invoicing and statutory reporting requirements

Grundfos, the Denmark-based pump manufacturer with operations in more than 80 countries, needed a way to simplify global legal compliance and keep pace with evolving e-invoicing and statutory reporting requirements. Using SAP Document Compliance and later SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, Grundfos aimed to avoid scattered local processes and lengthy country-by-country implementations.

SAP helped Grundfos implement a standardized global compliance framework that could be reused across markets, including plugging in new content for requirements such as Romanian SAF-T reporting. The result was faster, more automated compliance with improved traceability and easier audits; some rollouts were completed quickly with just a few notes and successful testing, while the company plans to extend SAP Document and Reporting Compliance to more countries.
