How Geberit built a centralized test cockpit system for the ABAP programming language that supports consistent and up-to-date testing in a complex IT landscape

Geberit, a sanitary technology and bathroom ceramics company, needed a central ABAP test cockpit to ensure consistent, up-to-date code testing across a complex SAP landscape and to gain cross-system visibility into code quality. To address this, Geberit used SAP BTP, ABAP environment along with SAP Analytics Cloud and related SAP services to create a centralized testing and reporting setup.

SAP implemented a hybrid architecture that enabled variant checking across SAP systems, custom developer functionality, and a dashboard for monitoring quality improvements. The solution supported migration of about 60,000 custom ABAP objects and scans of 370,000 ABAP objects per day, while also helping Geberit extend transport management and reduce staff costs for upgrading the central ABAP test cockpit on premise.
