How GC Biopharma transformed its HR organization to provide personalized employee experiences and respond rapidly to change requests

GC Biopharma, a leading South Korean pharmaceutical company, wanted to modernize its HR organization so employees would have a more personalized experience and IT could respond faster to change requests. Its legacy HR portal had limited functionality and low employee usage, creating a need for a more effective entry point to HR processes. SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone was selected to help address these challenges.

SAP implemented SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite to create a flexible, integrated HR portal. The new setup became the main entry point for HR, improved accessibility on both desktop and mobile, and required one-time development for desktop with smooth mobile adaptation. GC Biopharma also reported easier maintenance and plans to expand the solution to affiliates, with all 2,350 employees now able to use the platform.
