How fertilizer company GSFC is enabling process standardization and real-time business insights to support enhanced operations and future growth

GSFC, Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited, needed to modernize its operations and build a scalable digital platform to support business growth, while avoiding performance constraints and high customization. To do this, GSFC turned to SAP for a modern ERP foundation, using SAP S/4HANA along with SAP Fiori and SAP GRC solutions.

SAP implemented a phased SAP S/4HANA transformation with support from TCS, helping GSFC standardize processes, improve controls, and enhance the user experience. The results included an 87% reduction in foreign currency valuation time, 50%–80% process efficiency gains, a 98% improvement in analytical report performance, and a database size reduction from 2.7 TB to 1.1 TB.
