EVH, the utilities provider in Halle and part of Stadtwerke Halle, was looking to make its procurement processes more efficient after introducing a new ERP system. The company used SAP Signavio solutions to pilot and monitor a new standard procure-to-pay process and to compare target processes with actual behavior across the organization.

SAP implemented process mining and process intelligence through SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, Process Manager, and Process Collaboration Hub to give EVH data-driven visibility into its purchasing process. The effort revealed more process variants than expected, helped define a roadmap for optimization, improved data quality, and supported standardization goals across the SWH Group.
