A SAP Case Study
Etex, a global building materials manufacturer, faced the challenge of unifying its enterprise after years of acquisitions and locally managed IT systems that made integration complex, limited visibility, and increased costs. To support its “One Etex” transformation and cloud migration, Etex chose SAP Integration Suite to standardize integration across SAP and third-party systems.
SAP implemented a cloud-based integration platform that included prepackaged interfaces, API Management, SAP Event Mesh, document compliance, and EDI processing, while also enabling low-code development and centralized administration. As a result, Etex now integrates faster, monitors in real time, simplifies maintenance, and lowers total cost of ownership, helping improve visibility, collaboration with partners and customers, and overall growth across 45 countries.
