How Elanco Animal Health brought its invoicing system into the digital age by deploying a global solution from SAP that maintains each country's e-invoicing and reporting requirements

Elanco Animal Health Incorporated, a global animal health leader operating in more than 90 countries, needed a way to modernize invoicing and meet varying local e-invoicing and reporting mandates while maintaining consistency across its worldwide business. Its legacy invoicing processes were too complex and country-specific to support the company’s growth, so Elanco turned to SAP for a more standardized digital approach using SAP Document and Reporting Compliance.

SAP, working with implementation partner Trident Systems, deployed SAP Document and Reporting Compliance integrated with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform to centralize and standardize e-invoicing globally. The result was reduced invoicing complexity, stronger process integrity, standardized support and testing, and a scalable self-service localization model across 6 countries of operation.
