MasMovil, the Spanish telecommunications provider, needed to simplify a highly complex IT landscape made up of three ERP systems and nine billing applications. To support growth and improve customer service, MasMovil turned to SAP and SAP S/4HANA to unify processes and data, reduce manual work, and gain a single version of the truth across finance and operations.
SAP implemented SAP S/4HANA to integrate and automate end-to-end processes, centralize customer and vendor management, and improve visibility into cash, liquidity, and reporting. The results included a 20% reduction in SG&A expenses, a 72% reduction in the cash conversion cycle from 9 days to 2.5 days, and 40% faster financial transaction processing, while also speeding month-end closing and improving efficiency and resilience.
