A SAP Case Study
Jabil, a global manufacturing company serving more than 350 customers, needed to build a new ERP foundation that would improve efficiency and scalability while avoiding disruption to its always-on operations. Working with SAP, Jabil turned to SAP S/4HANA and SAP MaxAttention services to manage a complex migration during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a downtime window of less than 67 hours and major database growth to handle.
SAP helped Jabil complete the global migration smoothly and on time, improving financial closing, reporting, inventory visibility, and planning. The results included 50%–60% shorter transaction times, 240x faster response in high-utilization transactions, 180x faster response in manual transactions, 20x more frequent backflush updates, and more than US$1.9 million in annual recurring hard savings plus US$1.8 million in soft savings.
