A SAP Case Study
S.T. CORPORATION, a Japanese chemical company, faced performance and operability challenges with its legacy system for sales analysis and business performance management. The company's sales teams needed a self-service system capable of handling detailed point-of-sale data analysis without restrictions. To address this, they chose to implement the SAP HANA platform from vendor SAP.
With the help of implementation partner JSOL, SAP delivered a solution that integrated approximately 2 billion entries of sales and POS data. This new infrastructure enabled sophisticated, high-speed analysis, compressing data to one-seventh of its original size and reducing query execution times by more than 100 times. These improvements significantly accelerated sales planning and analysis for S.T. CORPORATION.
