Actemium, a company within the VINCI Energies Group providing electrical engineering and automation solutions, faced a challenge in managing sales consistently across its 70 German business units. Their sales teams lacked a unified CRM system, instead relying on disparate solutions and cumbersome ERP interfaces to create quotations, which hampered efficiency and transparency. To address this, they turned to vendor SAP for a solution.
With the support of implementation partner Axians, the SAP solution of SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer was implemented. This cloud-based CRM integrated with their existing ERP system, eliminating duplicate data entry and providing a single, up-to-date source for customer information. The solution from SAP enabled Actemium to standardize sales processes, leading to significant results: a 30-minute reduction in the time needed to create quotations and a highly streamlined one-hour user onboarding process.
