Kaiserwetter Energy Asset Management, a service provider for renewable energy asset and portfolio management, needed to catalyze global investments in renewable energy to meet the goals of the Paris climate agreement. They faced the challenge of operating in an opaque market and required a solution to integrate technical and financial data. To address this, they partnered with SAP to build a digital platform using the SAP Leonardo digital innovation system and the SAP IoT Application Enablement toolkit.

Using SAP Leonardo IoT and Analytics capabilities, Kaiserwetter developed the ARISTOTELES platform. This solution aggregates technical, meteorological, and financial data to provide executive-level dashboards and predictive analytics. The results for Kaiserwetter's clients included maximized asset performance and return on investment, as well as minimized investment risks. The platform manages an investment volume of €900 million and 470 megawatts of wind and solar assets, processing 160 million customer data points.
