Pacific Coast Supply, a large building supply provider operating in 14 states, needed to modernize store operations, improve counter sales, and replace its legacy sales system while preparing for an upgrade to SAP S/4HANA. The company turned to SAP and SAP partner DataXstream, using the OMS+ order-management solution integrated with SAP ERP.
SAP and DataXstream implemented OMS+ to support counter, mobile, and call-center sales with a simpler web interface, custom quote lookup, and automated order processes. The results included a 90% reduction in automated store-closing time from three hours to 15 minutes and a 90% reduction in new-employee training time, while improving customer service, sales efficiency, and the transition to SAP S/4HANA.
