A SAP Case Study
Burra Foods, an Australian dairy processor focused on export growth, faced challenges with its manual and paper-based HR processes, which consumed significant time and provided no visibility into its workforce. To support its expansion into new global markets like China, the company needed a more efficient and integrated HR solution. They partnered with vendor SAP to implement the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution and SAP Jam Collaboration.
SAP delivered a cloud-based HR platform that was deployed in under eight weeks. The solution automated processes, provided comprehensive reporting, and gave employees a better user experience. As a result, Burra Foods saved an estimated 4,500 person-hours per year, the equivalent of 2.5 team members, and achieved 98% employee adoption within one week of going live. This allowed the HR team and other staff to refocus their efforts from administrative tasks to more strategic work supporting business growth.
