A SAP Case Study
Koehler Paper Group, a specialty paper and board maker operating five production mills, needed a way to give customers online access to order status and delivery updates instead of handling requests by phone or e-mail. The company also wanted better data flow across the business and a faster way to build customer-facing solutions, using SAP ERP as part of its environment.
SAP, working with T.CON, implemented SAP Business Technology Platform with SAP ERP to create a secure, integrated customer portal and support flexible self-services. The result was 24x7 access to real-time order and delivery information, improved customer service, greater operational transparency, and less manual workload for service teams. Koehler reported that the implementation took minimal effort and significantly increased IT agility.
