A SAP Case Study
Westlake Vinnolit, a Germany-based PVC manufacturer, needed a new ERP system to improve asset accounting and supply chain transparency while meeting accounting, tax, insurance, and audit requirements in both Germany and the U.S. To avoid disrupting daily operations, the company turned to SAP for a structured, low-risk migration approach using SAP S/4HANA and SAP Services and Support.
SAP implemented a lean conversion service with SAP Advanced Deployment, SAP Readiness Check, and platform execution support across sandbox, development, quality assurance, and production systems. The project reduced migration risk, introduced a new general ledger, and laid the groundwork for a universal journal, integrated business planning, and better analytics to support faster closing and smarter decisions.
