Ballance Agri-Nutrients, a New Zealand farmer-owned co-operative, partnered with SAP to address time-consuming software management, legacy systems that couldn’t support transformation, weak engagement on its MyBallance platform, and unstable third-party integrations. Using RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Ballance aimed to improve productivity, digital agility, and speed to market.

SAP implemented a multiyear cloud transformation that stabilized the core environment and simplified operations. The results included 99.9% availability of the core SAP environment, a 20% reduction in SAP technology landscape operating costs, a 70% reduction in workload for managing the core, and a 10% reduction in resourcing needed to support and maintain the SAP software environment.
