How AGROFERT was able to implement a full global migration to SAP HANA DBServices and a small pilot of SAP S/4HANA with the help of experts from SAP Enterprise Support

AGROFERT, a global agribusiness with more than 34,000 employees across 235 companies, needed a new company-standard ERP and database platform that could support central management while still allowing industry-specific requirements. With limited internal resources for a large migration, AGROFERT turned to SAP and SAP Enterprise Support for help moving more than 20 customized SAP ERP implementations to a modern environment.

SAP implemented a global migration to SAP HANA DBServices and launched SAP S/4HANA pilot programs for multiple business units, supported by planning, testing, continuous quality checks, and knowledge transfer. The result was a smooth rollout with no project delays or business impact, successful migration of over 20,000 employees to SAP HANA DBServices in one year, and 4,000 employees migrated to SAP S/4HANA during the pilots.
