CHS, a leading U.S. agricultural cooperative, was managing a complex landscape of 13 ERP systems across 10 business units, each with custom solutions. As part of its transformation efforts, CHS wanted to streamline annual patronage payment calculations for 75,000 patrons and modernize its legacy environment using SAP.

SAP implemented SAP Incentive Administration by Vistex together with SAP Master Data Governance on SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition, to centralize master data and improve equity tracking. The result was cleaner, more accurate business partner data and far faster processing: payment calculations dropped from eight hours to under 90 minutes, patronage corrections became same-day, and overall payment calculation timing improved from overnight to same day.
