A SAP Case Study
Henkel, the global consumer products company, needed a way to comply with plastics tax laws in Spain and the United Kingdom while also providing customers with sustainability data about its products and packaging. To address these challenges, Henkel turned to SAP, using SAP Responsible Design and Production along with SAP Services and Support to better manage tax compliance and environmental reporting.
SAP implemented an integrated solution that connected responsible design and production data with Henkel’s SAP ERP environment, helping automate data selection, extraction, and reporting. As a result, Henkel can produce more accurate and efficient tax reports, reduce manual validation work, improve the accuracy of sustainability data, and gain better insight into product and packaging design to support greener decisions.
