A SAP Case Study
Government of Ras Al Khaimah needed to modernize HR to support its wider digital transformation agenda and the “We the UAE 2031” vision, while giving 19 government departments round-the-clock remote access to HR services and improving the employee experience. To do this, the government worked with SAP, using SAP SuccessFactors HCM to replace manual, on-premise HR processes with a more modern, mobile-friendly approach.
SAP implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and related cloud HR capabilities, along with SAP Preferred Success support, to automate recruitment, enable self-service access, and improve workforce visibility. The results included a fully paperless HR department, report development time reduced from 24 hours to 2 hours, 87% of employees finding the system easy to use, and 80 self-service options available in the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile app.
