A SAP Case Study
GFG Alliance, a global metals and energy group, faced limited visibility and transparency across eight separate business units and a heterogeneous process landscape in Australia. This made it difficult to compare data, monitor key processes like procure-to-pay and opportunity-to-cash, and support strategic decision-making with timely, reliable information. SAP addressed this challenge with SAP Signavio solutions, including Process Manager, Process Collaboration Hub, and Process Intelligence.
SAP implemented SAP Signavio to document, model, simulate, and visualize processes using system data connected to SAP S/4HANA, helping GFG Alliance harmonize operations and improve collaboration. The results included better adherence to procurement processes, fewer late payments and missed discounts, improved cash forecasting, and stronger visibility into inventory and sales performance. SAP Signavio also helped GFG Alliance accelerate period-end close by more than 50%, cutting it from 8 days to 3.
