A SAP Case Study
Gebr Kemper UK & Ireland needed a smarter way to capture production data and work-in-process information across largely manual manufacturing lines, while also modernizing an outdated warehousing setup and connecting multiple business divisions to one central ERP environment. SAP, together with Smart Factory by All for One Group and SAP Extended Warehouse Management, was chosen to support this digital transformation.
SAP implemented an integrated solution with Smart Factory acting as a data hub linked to SAP Extended Warehouse Management and SAP S/4HANA, enabling real-time data exchange, intuitive shopfloor input, and centralized workload control. The result was 100% transparency into workflows, 37 manual assembly workplaces fully digitalized and connected to SAP Extended Warehouse Management, faster processing of production orders, and improved productivity through precise time tracking and target/actual comparisons.
