A SAP Case Study
GEA, a global industrial manufacturing company supplying systems and components to food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors, needed to simplify and standardize highly heterogeneous processes across about 200 legal entities while consolidating 67 ERP applications in 60 countries. To support its five-year strategy for sustainable, profitable growth, GEA turned to SAP Signavio to improve process transparency and create a single source of truth.
SAP Signavio helped GEA document, model, analyze, and share processes through SAP Signavio Process Manager and SAP Signavio Process Collaboration Hub, enabling better collaboration and governance across the BPM lifecycle. As a result, GEA orchestrated the dual transformation of BPM and its ERP environment, achieved strong global adoption, and documented, approved, and published 643 business processes, with 17 legal entities already operating under the new process framework.
