A SAP Case Study
Fonterra, the New Zealand dairy cooperative, was managing a fragmented mix of cloud-based and on-premise SAP, custom-built, and third-party applications, which made it difficult for business users to access tools consistently. To simplify the user experience and create a single point of entry, Fonterra turned to SAP Launchpad service on SAP Business Technology Platform, with support from SAP Early Adopter Care.
SAP implemented SAP Launchpad service to unify access to Fonterra’s applications, enable single sign-on, and provide a consistent, mobile-friendly navigation experience across systems. The result was a central access point for SAP and third-party apps, zero need for users to manage multiple passwords, 24x7 access to business applications, and the decommissioning of one legacy portal, with more apps planned to move to the platform.
