A SAP Case Study
Royal FloraHolland, a large floriculture cooperative and auctioneer, faced challenges with inefficient manual, paper-based procure-to-pay processes that slowed down operations and created obstacles for its members. The company sought to optimize its buying and selling logistics, improve compliance, and empower its members with innovative technology to support its global ambitions. To achieve this, Royal FloraHolland turned to vendor SAP and its SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing solution.
The solution implemented by SAP, with McCoy & Partners as the implementation partner, automated workflows and consolidated all commerce processes. This provided greater control, tighter compliance, and a streamlined experience for buyers and sellers. The results were significant; Royal FloraHolland now processes over 125,000 transactions daily, manages €200 million in indirect spend, and has achieved over €3 million in anticipated savings, allowing staff to focus on value-adding activities.
