Flexus AG, a Germany-based consulting and software company, faced growing intralogistics complexity and the need to connect manual and automated transport resources inside SAP. Using SAP BTP, Flexus developed FlexGuide4, an all-in-one SAP logistics solution for hybrid fleets that could manage mobile robots, forklifts, tugger trains, and workers in one scalable system.

SAP helped Flexus implement a cloud-based, AI-driven platform with real-time integration to SAP EWM and other SAP systems, improving task allocation, route planning, and visibility. The result was measurable gains including 35% lower personnel and fixed costs, 67% better order distribution with fewer empty runs and search times, and 40% fewer errors, with 150 new users and 25,000–40,000 monthly goods movements supported in 2024.
