A SAP Case Study
EJOT, a German industrial manufacturing company that produces fasteners for construction, insulation, and automotive applications, needed to strengthen quality and efficiency in its administrative processes while increasing automation and freeing up time for more value-adding work. To do this, EJOT turned to SAP Signavio Process Intelligence from SAP to analyze and improve its purchase-to-pay processes.
SAP implemented SAP Signavio Process Intelligence to give EJOT flexible, decentralized process mining with built-in KPIs and easy analysis across plants, suppliers, and materials. The results included a reduction in manual quantity changes from 9% to 5.5% and a drop in manual price changes from 86% to 2% for a supplier handling 11,500 orders per year, with projected time savings of about 157 hours annually from fewer quantity adjustments and 270 hours from fewer price adjustments.
