EXFO, a Quebec-based developer of advanced testing, monitoring, and analytics systems for the global communications industry, needed to replace its slow, manual sales quoting process. Using SAP Sales Cloud, the company wanted to reduce response times, centralize customer and transaction data, and enable more employees to create quotes without relying on spreadsheets and email-based workflows.
SAP implemented a fully integrated, automated quoting solution that connected EXFO’s internal systems and made sales tools available anytime, anywhere. As a result, EXFO could provide on-the-spot quoting, handle more than 50% of quote transactions through the sales team, and eliminate spreadsheet use for better documentation; customer discount approvals also dropped from 48 hours to less than 24 hours.
