Evonik Industries, a global specialty chemicals company, needed to meet TicketBAI local tax and e-invoicing requirements in several Spanish provinces while integrating those rules with its existing ERP and document reporting systems. To address this compliance challenge, Evonik turned to SAP and its partner ecosystem, including SAP Document and Reporting Compliance and SAP Integration Suite.

SAP helped Evonik implement a solution that connected TicketBAI software with its existing SAP ERP and leveraged the company’s prior Spain SII compliance framework. As a result, Evonik can generate, process, and submit electronic documents in line with local regulations, improved regional tax compliance, and incurred zero employee training cost because users were already familiar with the SII-based process.
