ESB, a utilities provider managing electricity and gas supply for Ireland and Great Britain, faced a challenge with an oversized database that was hindering its software performance. As a result, ESB achieved a 21% reduction in its data footprint, saving 3.7 terabytes of data and approximately €100,000 in costs through lower storage needs and software improvements.
