Avast Software, a major internet security provider, faced a significant HR challenge following its acquisition of AVG Technologies. The company needed to integrate the two workforces smoothly and manage a surge in employee-related documentation for its global staff. To enhance its existing SAP SuccessFactors solution, Avast turned to vendor SAP for a more flexible tool to create employment contracts and other documents quickly.
The solution implemented by SAP was the deployment of Accenture Document Composer software on SAP Cloud Platform. This extension automated employee communication and streamlined the creation of HR documents by merging data from SAP SuccessFactors. The results included saving approximately 25 days on generating and distributing employee communications, faster processing of new hires, and more effective HR confirmation processes, all while lowering operating costs.
