Química Amparo, a consumer products manufacturer in Brazil, was struggling with limited visibility because it relied on spreadsheets for demand and distribution planning, which hurt customer service and made it harder to meet demand on time. The company turned to SAP, using SAP IBP for Supply Chain along with SAP S/4HANA for advanced ATP, to improve planning and strengthen production master planning.

SAP implemented an integrated planning model with a defined inventory policy and daily supply and deployment planning connected to sales, production, and transfer orders. As a result, Química Amparo improved in-full deliveries, boosted case-fill service levels by 21%, and increased on-time, in-full deliveries by 43%, reaching a 95% case-fill rate.
