Case Study: Parsable achieves reduced downtime and higher equipment effectiveness with SAP

A SAP Case Study

Preview of the Parsable Case Study

Empowering operator-led maintenance to unlock value across the factory floor

Parsable, an industrial manufacturing software company, needed a better way to connect frontline workers with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems, since many customers still relied on paper-based maintenance processes and fragmented data. Using SAP and Parsable’s Connected Worker platform, the goal was to simplify operator workflows, improve visibility on the factory floor, and enable more consistent maintenance execution.

SAP and Parsable implemented Parsable Maintenance Order Integration on SAP Business Technology Platform, connecting Parsable Connected Worker with SAP Enterprise Asset Management and SAP Digital Manufacturing. The result was bidirectional data flow between workers and SAP, automated maintenance order creation, and more autonomous maintenance processes, delivering a 25% reduction in downtime, more than 6% higher overall equipment effectiveness, and 12% increased throughput, while also saving over 100 hours per month and about US$500,000 per site.
