EPCOS AG, a manufacturer of electronic components, faced the challenge of creating a new joint venture, which required them to migrate historical data from multiple systems and set up a new, single IT landscape. To achieve this, they turned to SAP and its Data Management & Landscape Transformation team, utilizing the SAP Landscape Transformation software for the technical consolidation.

SAP implemented a selective data migration, consolidating data from two source systems into one new global system for the joint venture. The project was completed on time and within budget, successfully establishing business processes on a single productive system that supports operations across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
