A SAP Case Study
SLB, the Houston-based energy company, faced a major go-to-market challenge after its 2022 rebrand and rapid product expansion, launching 100+ new products each year across 100 countries. To support 4,000 sellers and customer-facing teams, SLB needed faster access to compliant sales content, better customer engagement, and more visibility into content effectiveness. SAP Sales Cloud was part of the environment used to centralize and deliver this enablement.
SAP, together with Mediafly, implemented a smart sales assistant integrated directly into SAP Sales Cloud, with personalized content delivery, analytics, AI-powered tagging, and mobile/desktop access. The solution helped SLB streamline content management, improve security, and speed time to market, while enabling 1,900 live end users and saving sales reps an estimated 20–30% of their time each week. SLB also reported a 75% reduction in sales assets and stronger customer engagement at events, including 5,000+ live visitors at a single trade show.
