Deutsche Börse Group, the international exchange organization, needed to standardize and automate business processes across its global operations while meeting strict financial-sector security and regulatory requirements. To do this, it worked with SAP and adopted SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP S/4HANA on Google Cloud Platform, and other cloud solutions to replace manual, fragmented workflows with a more integrated cloud-based approach.
SAP implemented a phased cloud transformation covering HR, purchasing, travel and expense management, analytics, customer service, and governance processes. As a result, Deutsche Börse Group improved efficiency, enabled real-time reporting and better cross-team collaboration, and supported mobile and remote work; SAP Service Cloud now manages about 30,000 customer interactions each week, and managers can approve tasks on the go.
