A SAP Case Study
Sonnedix, a renewable energy producer operating in 10 countries, needed to replace a fragmented finance environment made up of 13 ERP solutions and multiple legacy systems. The complexity was making processes inconsistent, slowing compliance with local regulations, and forcing finance teams to spend too much time manually collating data for decision-making. Sonnedix selected SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, along with SAP Analytics Cloud, to create a unified global finance landscape.
SAP implemented a single global ERP with standardized best-practice workflows, embedded controls, and real-time reporting across more than 500 legal entities. The rollout went live across 10 countries in 10 months, retired 13 legacy finance and support systems, and is expected to deliver 40% faster month-end closing. As a result, Sonnedix reduced IT and operational costs, improved financial control, and gained faster access to global insights.
