Its challenge was managing large volumes of transactional and analytics data while keeping costs under control, and it turned to SAP HANA Cloud and SAP’s self-service migration service to address the issue.

SAP helped CONTAX move to SAP HANA Cloud quickly and automate key migration tasks, with the transition starting on a Friday evening and the new features in use by Sunday morning. CONTAX shifted nearly two-thirds of its data to warm storage, reduced its overall memory footprint by 25%, and gained strong performance for mixed workloads while lowering costs and simplifying data management with a single database.
