Coca-Cola HBC AG wanted to improve its customer digital experience by replacing an outdated customer identity and access management system that made web shop access cumbersome and lacked modern login features. The company worked with SAP to support its SAP Commerce Cloud–based web shop and introduce a more secure, flexible authentication approach.
SAP implemented SAP Customer Data Cloud with SAP ActiveAttention services using the SAP Activate methodology, consolidating customer identity data and enabling password-free, social, and phone-number login options. The result was a smooth deployment of a high-performing authentication system, stronger security through risk-based authentication rules, and better self-service for users, with 160,000 customers migrated without password resets and only a 4-week hypercare phase.
