A SAP Case Study
The City of Saskatoon, a Canadian municipality with 14 business lines, needed to modernize its growing mix of systems and processes to support smoother administration and better resident services. As part of this business transformation, it worked with SAP, using SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP SuccessFactors, and related tools to create a more integrated “one city” approach, especially for HR, payroll, and incident management.
SAP helped the City of Saskatoon centralize health and safety and labor relations processes with an intuitive, integrated platform, supported by a phased change-management rollout and hands-on training. The result was more standardized and accurate reporting, stronger employee engagement, and time savings, with health and safety process efficiency improving by more than 50% and 94% of reported incidents completed within six months.
