Soleum, a sustainable energy company led by CEO Francisco de Blanco, is developing alternative fuel and negative-carbon feedstocks from native oil trees such as macaúba in Brazil. Its challenge was proving the integrity of its carbon claims and managing regulatory reporting across a complex supply chain while tracking verified carbon units and carbon intensity.

SAP provided the S/4HANA-based green ledger approach, including enhanced carbon emissions calculations and standardized emissions data exchange.
