Komplett Group, a Norwegian retail company, needed to replace a heavily customized SAP ECC core that had accumulated too much bespoke data and technical debt. As e-commerce demands grew, the company wanted a stable, fast platform that could support rapid innovation, transparent stock allocation, and seamless omnichannel customer experiences, so it turned to SAP and RISE with SAP.
SAP implemented a greenfield S/4HANA solution for Komplett Group with a strict fit-to-standard approach, using embedded EWM and TM, SAP Event Mesh, Integration Suite, and BTP-based innovations. The result was a clean, cloud-native core with real-time updates and better visibility, plus measurable impact including a 99% reduction in user exits and enhancements, a 63% reduction in custom code, and 16 new cloud-native services built on SAP standards.
