A SAP Case Study
Brose, the automotive supplier with around 32,000 employees, needed a replacement for the SAP Supplier Workplace as it moved from SAP ERP Central Component to SAP S/4HANA. Its challenge was maintaining efficient supplier communication and delivery processing, especially for non-EDI suppliers, while reducing manual errors in goods receipts, delivery data, labels, and packing instructions.
SAP partner conarum implemented the proconarum collaboration platform on SAP BTP to connect Brose’s ECC and S/4HANA systems in one user-friendly, SAP Fiori-based solution. The result was real-time validation of supplier data, simpler document exchange, and better transparency; Brose reported an efficient solution for supplier communication, with more than 2,000 delivery schedules and over 3,000 goods receipts processed in the first phase, drastically reducing effort and avoiding additional headcount.
