A SAP Case Study
Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC), a Texas-based regional grocery chain, faced the challenge of raising employee skills in a fiercely competitive market while needing to control costs and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Their previous instructor-led classroom training was expensive and no longer delivered the best value, prompting a search for a digital learning solution. To address this, the company turned to vendor SAP and implemented the SAP SuccessFactors Learning solution.
By working with SAP and partner 3D Results, BGC launched a digital training platform called Learn. This solution allowed them to convert classroom courses into engaging e-courses, digitize compliance tracking, and deliver targeted training. The results were significant, including over $200,000 in savings from converting just six courses, the completion of 1.4 million training courses, and the efficient onboarding of 600 new employees for 25 stores in just six weeks. SAP's solution enabled BGC to reduce costs, improve tracking, and better develop its workforce.
