A SAP Case Study
Soley GmbH, a Munich-based high-tech company and SAP.iO participant, helps manufacturers reduce product portfolio complexity and manage supply chain risk. Using SAP data sources such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Business Warehouse, Soley needed a way to turn fragmented product information into clear, actionable insights for better portfolio decisions and sustainability management.
SAP supported Soley’s Product Mining Platform, which uses SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Technology Platform to consolidate data, build an enterprise digital twin, and generate recommendations for phasing out low-value products. The results included a 10% increase in EBIT, a 53% reduction in end-of-life products, and BOM analysis time cut from 480 hours to 1 minute, helping teams make faster, data-driven decisions.
