A SAP Case Study
Banque Nationale du Canada (National Bank of Canada) needed to modernize a complex integration landscape built on legacy SAP Process Integration/SAP Process Orchestration, with 450+ interfaces, slow partner onboarding, higher infrastructure costs, and paper-based processes that conflicted with its sustainability goals. The bank also needed its development team to upskill from Java-based tools to modern integration technologies.
SAP helped Banque Nationale du Canada migrate to SAP Integration Suite, using cloud integration, API management, event-driven architecture, and automation tools to connect SAP and non-SAP systems more flexibly and securely. The results included reducing B2B partner onboarding from two months to one week, retiring 50+ interfaces, and generating about $350K in annual savings, while also improving scalability, developer productivity, and support for the bank’s net-zero ambitions.
