Axpo Trusting Expert Guidance and Know-How to Implement a Flexible Single-Sign-On Solution

Axpo, Switzerland’s largest producer of renewable energy, was in the middle of an HR transformation to move key software to the cloud but faced a highly complex identity provider landscape and limited internal experience with delegated authentication for SAP SuccessFactors. To support its cloud-first strategy, Axpo turned to SAP Services and Support for guidance, using SAP Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning services on SAP BTP.

SAP implemented a flexible single-sign-on solution with best practices from SAP Value Assurance and support from SAP’s Customer Center of Expertise. The result was a secure SSO setup that worked across multiple corporate identity providers, supported multifactor and basic authentication, and avoided major changes to legacy IAM systems. SAP helped Axpo reduce project risk to 0 and enable users to log in to SAP SuccessFactors more easily.
